6. How Programs will be Judged
Go to INDEX
- ENTRY CATEGORY: Programs will be judged as to whether they solve a given
subject correctly with a checking program to be published.
- SPEED CATEGORY: Programs will first be judged on how fast and efficiently
they solve the given subject. Next, the algorithm, the structure of the
program and the documentation will be judged.
- IDEA CATEGORY: We will first screen programs using the documentation
submitted, then check the programs. We will take the idea and documentation
quality into account in the judgment. We may also ask the programmer to check
the program operation themselves.
The environments for running your program are as follows:
- ENTRY CATEGORY: A UNIX workstation
- SPEED CATEGORY: A UNIX shared memory parallel processing server
- IDEA CATEGORY: Either environment (1) or (2), depending on the program
